File layout specifications (import users)
File layout refers to the structured file for the correct import of a list of users on the platform. It Indicates the fields enabled to correctly synchronize the information, in addition to those that are required for the creation of the user and subscription to the Dr. Security emergency service.
The Dr. Security file layout is offered in .CSV form, you can download the template from the import a list of users module.
How to complete the document correctly?
Step 1. Open the document in Microsoft Excel (or another word processor that supports .csv format). To complete it quickly, convert the text document into a column. To do this: Select column A, then go to the Data tab and select the Text to Columns option.
To start the process of converting the text to a column, first select that the data must be “Delimited” and select the Next button:
Next, select the “Comma” option as the content delimiter and select the Next button again:
Finally, select the “General” option for data format and select the Finish button:
After completing the process, you will see the content separated by columns, you must complete the document following the specifications indicated below:
The document includes the following fields (each of them belongs to a column). Those indicated as mandatory are required fields that must be completed correctly in order to import users into the Dealers platform:
Once complete, you must save the document by selecting: File > Save As > Comma Separated Values (.csv). You can change the file name if you wish. This file is the one you must select to import users into the Dealers platform.
